Went to Gees after reading all the positive reviews. The restaurant was small and the clientele was very decent. No one spoke loudly and no one ate loudly!! Service was excellent, cannot fault it in any way. Really loved that they gave us chilled wine glasses for our sparkling wine.Our starters- scallops cocktail and crab cake. The cocktail was ok. Our starters- scallops cocktail and crab cake. The cocktail was ok. Crab cake well cooked. The rib eye steak for main was a disappointment. It was greasy and the presentation of the dish was not elegant. I had the pork chop and it was abit over cooked, tough to chew. The side dishes were good.
The coffee was very strong and smooth. It kept us awake all night.
Overall a pleasant experience but probably won't go back again.
