The food is quite expensive. especially for those one bite appetisers. However the foie gras lollipop is quite nice. I do not recommend the crab apple one.For main, we have ordered the toothfish, halibut, roasted chicken and the carbonara. I was attracted by the wordings in the menu for carbonara as it says that they will serve it from the wheel. For main, we have ordered the toothfish, halibut, roasted chicken and the carbonara. I was attracted by the wordings in the menu for carbonara as it says that they will serve it from the wheel. However, after we ordered, the waitress said that they will have it prepared outside (which is a far distance from our table, basically we can’t see how the pasta is prepared). Anyway, that’s fine. We understand that the place is just too small to have the cheese wheel in front of you.
I personally quite like the roasted chicken. Portion is good for 4 persons. Crispy skin and tender/juicy meat. Yet I’m not attracted by the 2 fish dishes. Totally not a big wow. I think you guys should order beef rather than fish.
For the dessert we ordered the campfire, where there’s oven baked mash mellow with chocolate. It’s really nice.
Overall, price is expensive, but with the location, perhaps everywhere shares similar price. Would suggest to visit it on Monday with the super Monday discount.
Service: I think the staff are helpful and good.
Environment: the dinning area isn’t that noisy. I think it’s totally acceptable.
