When it comes to eating out, the one thing that annoys most people is bad service, and Lotus Garden gives the term "bad service" a whole new dimension. The pugnacious female owner is notorious for her bad temper and disposition to abuse the customers. The pugnacious female owner is notorious for her bad temper and disposition to abuse the customers. I saw this on display first hand during my only, and last, visit to Lotus Garden,which took place several months ago and before I read about all the unfavorable reviews on this restaurant on Openrice.com.
I am not sure whether it is a common occurrence but the night when i was there, the owner picked fights with customers at two tables, and as she was grumbling on and on, it became so annoying that i could not bear to finish the food, which was not so good in any case.
