It is the first time for my colleagues and I going into this Shanghainese restaurant. Not because the entrance is not attractive, not because the place is too small to fit us, but it is due to the long line up each time we walk pass this restaurant.Today, we were lucky enough to see no line up outside the restaurant, so without hesitation we decided to wait for it. Today, we were lucky enough to see no line up outside the restaurant, so without hesitation we decided to wait for it. After a few minutes we were seated and ready to order.
I have ordered a beef noodle and added a 小籠包 as a side dish. They both tasted great. The juice from the 小籠包 surges out immediately on my first bite, the dumpling wrap is at the right thickness. Overall, I would give them 5/5 for their taste.

My colleague, on the other hand, ordered a 紅燒肉菜飯 and a 生煎包. The taste of this combination is just as good. The 紅燒肉 is tasty and has a strong rich taste. It is fulfilling indeed. The juice inside the 生煎包 is incredible.
Overall the taste on all dishes are great. When there is no line ups outside of the restaurant, we will go again and try another dish definitely.
