Tak Shing is famous for its hand made egg rolls. There are three types, namely, classic egg rolls, butter egg rolls and coconut egg rolls. Recently when I visited North Point, I happened to see customers queuing outside the shop for egg rolls. There is a quota system. Every one may buy 4 half pound cans or two one pound cans. I heard an old lady in the queue expressed content having the luck to buy two cans for self consumption. I also bought two cans as gifts for my parents and aunt. My favorite flavors are coconut and butter. Both are yummy, full of flavor but not too heavy. Price is reasonable. Tak Shing being a HK brand, I wonder whether the producer will consider increasing its daily supply and improving its distribution outlets so that more people, especially the elderly, can enjoy these egg rolls without the need to queue at the only outlet at North Point.
