If dropping by this hospital and want something fancy, this cafe can be an option. It's a bit hard to get a seat considering the very limited seatings. Surprisingly they also served hot food. Tuna and egg salad sandwich visually very watery and having an impression that the bread would end up soggy. However, it was well toasted and best eat it right away before for real ending up soggy. It was a very messy meal because the juice dripped over every single bite. Sandwich was sandwiched with generous stuffing. Could have added a bit black pepper for a kick. Not bad.
Scrambled egg sandwich was served with a side salad drizzled with balsamic vinegar. Scrambled egg was creamy but nice that they kept the egg pieces. Bread was toasted just right. Side salad greens were in big chunks which ended up messy eater again.
Matcha latte was alright. Had a taste of soy. Well balanced with matcha bitterness while a hint of sweetness added from the soy.
Iced americano was okay. Aromatic and nutty. Even with ice, it's not as watery as it could be.
Sadly, the two sandwiches portion were pretty small that we ended up getting another spinach lattice. It was well heated up in golden brown. Buttery and flakey pastry while cheesy spinach filling. Not bad but nothing special.
Overall, it was a decent dining experience. Was having difficulty to get a seat. Food portion was pretty small considering the price.
