A new Vietnamese restaurant opened nearby my residential area. I see it when I pass by. Tomato and Crab Meat Noodles ($80) was a favorite of ours when we were in Hanoi. There are some that do this in other parts of Hong Kong  but the soup just tastes like tomato soup. It wasn't the umami rich broth we had in Hanoi. But this place! The soup was not your basic tomato soup. It had a rich seafood taste. Slightly thick as well. Very close to the one we had in Hanoi. There were  a few shrimp along with Vietnamese sausage along with a mound of crab meat and pork balls. The noodles were still chewy and smooth. Not over cooked and soggy.

Noodles with Stir Fried Pork and Lemongrass ($65) otherwise known as bun cha is a favorite item I had in Hanoi. I only know one other place that does it properly. And now I've found another!

The cold noodles were still springy with a decent amount of fresh lettuce and herbs. Pickled daikon and carrots along with a generous mound of fried crispy garlic and peanuts.

But this was what I was looking for. A rich yet light broth that with nicely grilled pieces of pork belly.  More fresh pikled daikon was there as well as carrots. A couple of soft pork balls were provided.

The food here was very good. Very close to the ones we had in Vietnam. Will definitely be back to try some other items and hopefully quality will not decrease!
