I always do not understand why ppl keep queuing to those chain sushi stores while you can pay a slightly higher price with better view and services for high quantity sushi set on some upstairs Japanese restaurants *a lot in CWB I assure u* This is one of my top 4 Jap Restaurants (incl. Have been there for times, they make changes on my sashimi rice. It was used to be in a rectangular bowl with half sashimi and rice on the other side. My love stated that it is reasonable to have taste more different sashimi than the sushi set. Anywaz, maybe due to the seasonal scale, this time is the scallop, uni, salmon, cuttlefish rice and salmon roe. The combination and the freshness of the seafood with the rice is a wow, just add a little wasabi is enough without adding any soya sauce that destroy the fresh bowl. I usu express this great favor with a satisfactory look and complete the whole bowl without leftover.
Sushi set is always good that I can see the satisfactory look from my love. Apart from the normal order, we usu take advice from the chef and usu they are good recommendations.
One more thing, their steamed egg is like melted soup when u sip in. If you like this kind of steamed egg, I think u should like it. Yet, if you have small appetite, leave ur stomach to the main instead!
After going to these place, I dun think u want to queue again...
