I visited on a Friday evening , the restaurant was full and buzzing with all types of folks and the Chefs were very busy plating dishes in the open kitchen ( which I really like), I was in the mood for a steak and I saw on the menu Lucques was offering real natural beef from California!! I visited on a Friday evening , the restaurant was full and buzzing with all types of folks and the Chefs were very busy plating dishes in the open kitchen ( which I really like), I was in the mood for a steak and I saw on the menu Lucques was offering real natural beef from California!! I had to try it , I ordered the Brandt Beef Top Cap Ribeye , I was not sure what Top Cap really meant but was willing to give it a try, OMG!!! That was probably the tastiest piece to steak I have EVER eaten and cooked to perfection!! ( I ordered mine medium) It came out on a wooden board , 2 slices exposing the inside and the perfect doneness. There was also a whole clove of creamy warm roasted garlic , and really nice little potatoes I think they called fingerling. Very tasty!! I also washed it all down with a glass of a VERY nice California Zinfandel , Segesio Vineyards and was a very happy camper. I will certainly be back for the warm
Atmoshere , excellent food and also the very friendly service..........well done Lucques!! A very nice
Addition to the TST dining scene.
Other Info. : The Bread is excellent as well , they serve a nice crusty old world type bread with , nice olives and almonds in a little dish , with some nice butter and a bit of sea salt!! Very cool and very good way to start the meal
