Tried Sunday Roasted this afternoon in "Murphy". I missed this kind of pub food very much in particular to roasted lunch that traditionally only do on Sunday, for a very long time.
"Murphy" distinguished herself in red in Nathan Road that is located in a very convenience place. When we got in the pub, popped into couple of customers that they gave us friendly greetings which to make the lunch a good start.
Once we set down, just can't wait to order 2 roasted beef lunch. For drink, we ordered 1 pint of Murphy's Irish stout and 1/2 pint of "Stella".
Soup was Cream of Carrot. Not bad that can be better if in more heat.
For main dish, look at that, you just could not help to say "Ho Yeah" when you see it! That big piece of yorkshire pudding, 2 big pieces of beef and that lot of mashed potato. Good presentation.
I would give the lunch 80/100. 20 was lost in:-
(1) We found the yorkshire pudding a bit over-cooked that bitter taste was from the burn part.
(2) Beef taste good but some part of it was not tender enough.
(3) We ordered 1 pint of Stout, but waitress gave us 1/2 pint. She finally noticed it and delivery another 1/2 pint to us.
(4) Too full of the lunch, that unable to have tea and coffee which was included in lunch. So give you tips that need not to order beer at the beginning. Just see at the end.
Apart from above, I recommend friends and family to drink or dine in Murphy's.
