for the pizza, we chose 𝗹𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 / 𝘧𝘪𝘰𝘳 𝘥𝘪 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦 | 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢 | 𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘢 | 𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘰 𝘱𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘰 / ($148). the creaminess from the ricotta and delicate-yet-rich, fatty, tenderness of the mortadella paired with the nutty pesto made for a pizza that was relatively light in flavour yet full-bodied in texture. drizzle on some of the smoky, garlicky chilli oil to amp up the flavour even more.
lastly, end the meal with two bites of 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗶. why two bites? because @giuli_fughi told us that that is the way Italians do it, AND also because eating half the cannoli in one bite allows for an unapologetically indulgent experience of the crisp cannoli shell shattering and velvety soft chocolate cream coating your mouth (plus, it guarantees all crumbs go where it should - not the floor 👍🏻ᵕ·̮ᵕ👍🏻)
