After all the media boost and talk of the town of Aubrey, we decided to try Aubrey after all it was our wedding anniversary and we love Japanese cuisine. What a disappointment starting from the moment we enter the restaurant till we are seated down, we have not experienced any kind of the service which we do expect considering this is within a five star hotel? Service was bad, seats were low and uncomfortable and pretty much we are like a neglected set of customers left on the own looking at the
Service was bad, seats were low and uncomfortable and pretty much we are like a neglected set of customers left on the own looking at the menu , wondering what to order when clearly staff who walked pass would have seen we are tying to figure out what to order?
Down to the dishes. Disappointment and we have not tried such a soggy type of lobster fried rice or $498 for a plate of simple fried tempura selections. As for the rest of the dishes we have tried - it is the same feedback from the above.
Overall, it was such a disappointing first experience coupled with a special occasion that we had to make do with a second meal elsewhere, paying $2000 for this experience is such a let down.
