Went to meet a few new friends tonight so we had dinner at central first then moved on to Lan Kwai Fong for some drinks. I saw an online article earlier about a newly opened Moroccan bar - LILYA Moroccan Lounge and Bar, so we thought it would be a nice place to bring new friends to try. 👍🏻Once you walk out of the lift, you could see how the place is fully decorated with Moroccan style shapes, materials and lightings. We arrived around 9:30pm and luckily we didn't need to wait to get seated. The best part was that we got a table near the window with comfy sofas and cushions 👍🏻😆 Here are some photos of the table and decorations:
We ordered one drink each and I chose the Oriental Cushion cocktail. I'd probably say it is quite a strong drink but it is the most special drink I've ever seen! The cocktail is being served with a jar filled with smoke. The waiter will place the jar in front of you and gently remove the cover to allow the smoke gradually go away. What's left is the smoke-infused cocktail - a strong flavoured drink with cinnamon and star anise decorated with a dried orange 🍹👍🏻😆
After our drinks, we decided to go for shisha ($248). We chose mango & mint flavour mixed together. (Other flavours include vanilla, apple, cappucino and etc) The shisha could be shared between different people as they give you a few 'mouth pieces'.
The music isn't too loud until around 11pm, you don't need to shout to chit-chat. I'd love to come again and try other drinks 😋
