I’ve been tempted to try this out since a lot of you mentioned this is one of the best dumplings in Kowloon. The original store is closed and relocated to this new site inside a shopping mall. We came just before the rush hour for lunch and were able to skip the queue. My order was the pan fried pumpkin and cram chicken dumplings. Tasted delicious and they coated the dumplings with a little flour for pan fry- I would say it’s really good, no excessive oil observed on the plate. I paired the dump

My order was the pan fried pumpkin and cram chicken dumplings. Tasted delicious and they coated the dumplings with a little flour for pan fry- I would say it’s really good, no excessive oil observed on the plate.

I paired the dumplings with Taiwanese noodles and chose the tomato and potato soup. It was wholesome and I could barely taste any MSG.

You can help yourself with water and unlimited free refill of spicy radish pickles at the self-service bar. The mala taste of their house made pickled radish is strong and quite spicy! So be prepared.

I also tried the broiled vegetables and it’s fresh and tender. Overall, it was worth the hype, although quite many commented that their original store quality was way better.

Anyways, I liked it. No harm when there’s no comparison. Haha.
