As the weather became colder, we craved for hot and spicy food, thus we looked around for Sichuan skewers and noodle. 川串香 was located at Portland Street, few minutes walk from Mongkok MTR.As a take-away store, they served a wide range of skewers such as meat, seafood and vegetables etc. Besides that, they offered Sichuan noodles and snacks as well. Hot and sour noodles - Noodle were chewy and smooth, and the soup was spicy and sour in taste, very appetizing.
Fried sauce noodles were chewy and smooth, with minced meat, sliced cucumber and bean sprouts in it. The chef was generous with the portion, with the noodle covering almost the whole bowl.
Grilled drumstick were juicy and smooth, spicy in taste as alot of spice powder were added on it. Fried octopus was chewy too.
We ordered few more skewers such as fish, pork neck, beef cube, pig kidneys and enoki mushroom with sliced beef. They were grilled till flavourful and chewy, spicy in taste.
