Unlike other women, I am not a big fan of afternoon tea. But this time I wonder why is there no review in openrice for the flycation afternoon tea set, jointly launched by Hong Kong Airline and Pier 1929.I love that they got a variety of savoury canapes in their tea set, and most importantly, some of them could be unlimitedly refilled.The Thai shrimp and mango toast, the Japanese takoyaki-sotto and the puff pastries are great. Each of these canapes represent the cuisines from different countries

The Thai shrimp and mango toast, the Japanese takoyaki-sotto and the puff pastries are great. Each of these canapes represent the cuisines from different countries, and this matches with the theme of flycation.
The idea of pouring Seoul soju (non-alcoholic) into the cotton candy, to make it melt, is fun and very igable (as well as the typical airline container box for delivering the food).
A glass of champagne is served before the tea set, and a gift box with culinary set with the logo of Hong Kong Airlines for each guest is distributed.
The only complain lies with the dirty carpet at the entrance.
The atmosphere is great and the scene is terrific with the full view of the Victoria harbour of the TST side. I enjoyed spending my day off here for an afternoon.
