It was a impromptu walk-in late lunch. Went straight to the set lunch - Menu Porteno $158 plus service charge. We picked Tuna Ceviche and Argentinian Beef and Pork Sausage to start with. Followed by the Carbonara and a Beef Burger. As for sides, we ordered a mixed salad and a fries. The set menu includes a soft drink. Here came the surprised part. When the bill came, we were charged with 2 glasses of sparkling water. We asked the waiter who took the order and he replied sparkling water isn’t soft drink?!?? Then I asked why he didn’t tell us when we ordered. He said he thought we knew?!?! We all knew soda drinks are soft drinks!!! So we ended up paying extra $64 for the soft drinks of which we believed was included in the set menu.
I think it’s absolutely ridiculous. So make sure you verify with waiter whatever you order is included in price. Otherwise you will end up paying extra. We are very disappointed and we won’t go back for sure. We certainly would not recommend to anyone.
