High quality takeaway for matcha lover Here is one of the best matcha places in Hk. Due to the critical situation in HK recently, it only opened the takeaway counter today but not the restaurant. The Uji namacha-men (matcha noodle) was al dente and very matcha! The after taste was strong. The soup was made of honjicha and bonito - super nice and hot enough!! The Uji namacha-men (matcha noodle) was al dente and very matcha! The after taste was strong. The soup was made of honjicha and bonito - super nice and hot enough!! The thinner noodle was called somen, which was less matcha and tasted like angelhair.
The marinated Japanese half-boiled egg was perfectly cooked! And the saltiness and sweetness were well balanced! The sweet fried tofu tasted good too.
The honjicha au lait float was just so so as the soy milk taste was stronger than the honjicha. The iced matcha was much nicer.
