I could understand a terse amount of spoken Cantonese but I can’t read it and so I asked the waitress to translate some items from their breakfast menu because it was in the morning. The cost was HKD39 and I was a little struck when my order came because it’s a Hong Kong Dai Pai Dong and should offer the diner good value for money. Instead, the ramen (noodles) was a vegetarian dish served with only radish condiments. This was combined with buttered bread (half), a single portion of luncheon meat

Instead, the ramen (noodles) was a vegetarian dish served with only radish condiments. This was combined with buttered bread (half), a single portion of luncheon meat and one fried egg with a cup of chilled tea to drink. I feel it should’ve been bigger and with more ingredients in the cooking to reflect the cost of it.
