This new L16 Japanese restaurant is a sister restaurant of the L16 in Hong Kong Park (which will close on the 18th November 2018 due to the ending of their lease), that's why the English name is identical and they only differ in the cuisine type, along with the fact that this one has a Chinese name unlike the other one. Whereas the one in Hong Kong Park serves Thai and Japanese food, this cozy restaurant only serves Japanese food. I personally think it resembles an izakaya type restaurant since they provide a nice selection of Japanese sakes and covers different types of Japanese food, such as sushi, tempura, grilled food, udon, and many more delicious choices. I was so impressed with the food that I had to take photos from different angles hahaha

Though it is actually much more reasonable to get the lunch sets, we felt like trying the a la carte menu

It should also be noted that some of the waitresses who have a smiley face badge are disabled in that they cannot hear or speak, so I urge you not to be impatient with them if they happen to ignore you. This is also an applaudable gesture showing good corporate social responsibility by the restaurant, thumbs up on helping those in need
