Took 30 minutes to cook 芒果南瓜炒飯. When the food finally arrives, I find small shells of some seafood in my rice. I tell the waiter about this. He brings the piece of shell into the kitchen. Comes back with an excuse most likely given to him from the manager or chefs, flips to the menu and points at the seafood section, indicating that it’s a shell from the lobsters and that it is normal and made sense to have seafood shells in the food. 1. 1. I ordered a dish with no seafood in it. It wasn’t even in the seafood section: it was in the Rice section.
2. The particular dish I ordered did not have any seafood listed on the menu whatsoever.
3. It was a hazard and your staff said that it’s normal and “okay” for there to be seafood shells in my food.
After talking to the waiter for a few minutes, he then finally decides to ask me to order something else. This was at 9:20pm.
Ordered another dish, this time, green curry with mushrooms. Food comes at 9:40pm, and immediately the waitress with glasses who brought my food, asks me to pay on the spot because your restaurant was closing soon.
4. I haven’t even touched the plate and your waitress asks for the bill and then proceeds to stand right next to my table until I paid. What kind of manager teaches their staff to demand payment when your restaurant staff were the ones who had made an error in the first place? And to make it worse, the green curry and mushrooms looked utterly horrendous: like slugs swimming in green filth.
For those of you looking for good Thai food, this is definitely not the place. Koon Thai Cuisine used to serve decent food before, but now it has turned for the worse. How unfortunate.
Other Info. :
Terrible service, had to wait at least 5 minutes until you could get the waiter/waitress' attention.
Absolutely shit food.
