We had our lovely afternoon tea at Dalloyau's Le Café finally this Saturday. We booked it a month in advance as some tables weren't available and as we must be seated indoors against the summer heat.We really enjoyed our food there. There are 4 savory and 6 sweet items with coffee or tea. I had Japan Lime Tea because my favorite ginger lime and raspberry tea were out. Sis had Rose Tea and parents Iced Coffee. The 3-tier set still has its charm. We were happy to explore these bite-size food. Many

The Chocolate and Banana and Mascarpone Cream were all right but my Orange Macaron tasted a bit like coughing syrup and the crust wasn't quite crispy thin.
Finally, we were served Original & Orange Zest Scones with jam and double cream to make sure we left feeling full the British way.
Service-wise, it's not bad but I was bothered by the servers towering over us and took long time explaining each food item when there was menu!
We may chill with a few sweet delights at the garden next time on cooler days and definitely Épure for some fine dining but not at Le Café again unless they have better seats.
Other Info. :
An afternoon tea set for two is $538 but for one, it sky rockets to $398.
