Small restaurant in the quite area of wing fung street.

Tight seating, just one row of tables.

Wanted to try their seasonal salad platter, sold out.

Ok.. lets try the wagyu salad. It's on the menu as "che'f recommendation" (in gold sticker).

the don't have black cod anymore, so they substituted it with flat fish. tasted a bit like black cod! oily/fatty with soft skin texture, and it can break off by the lines of the meat as you poke it with your chopsticks. didn't really need the miracle whip.

tong yum cold noodles. everyone else around us were ordering ramen, this didn't feel like a place to eat ramen, i would rather go to a ramen joint. so we decided to try this cold noodle. the tong yum sauce/dressing is very light, not as strong as I anticipated. Noodle texture is chewy, not bad, its worth a try. I hope they can make the tong yum dressing stand up more though.

very tempted to try their sashimi. their today's special platter is $168 for 3 kinds (hamachi, snapper, and goby shrimp. I went a la carte and got salmon ($28) and hamachi ($48). I could've doubled this up and still be cheaper than the special (because I am not a fan of shrimps, and the snapper doesn't seem amusing).

hamachi - less fatty than the salmon, but also thick cut, and they cut up as squares on top, that was fun to chew. i should just come back for their sashimi!

very satisfying meal. i would come back for their sashimi, grilled fish, and the noodles!

Overall, their menu is limited. they have like 4-6 types of ramen, 4 or 5 types of salad (of which 2 were sold out),  and under 6 items to choose from from their maki roll section, deep fried section, and hot food section. sashimi wise there were like a dozen.

maybe they want to maintaint their quality so they limit their menu i suppose.... but theres room for growth!
