This is a new shop opened on 25th May, 2010, and I was the first batch of customers to try the Froyo in this shop. This is a new shop opened on 25th May, 2010, and I was the first batch of customers to try the Froyo in this shop. Since it is located near HKU and some secondary schools around, this is targeting youths and consistent with the trend of eating Froyo in HK recently. Unlike the shops in CWB/TST, this shop is relatively small, and there is only 6 chairs to sit, and the size of the shop is around 1/3 of Yogo. The flavours of Yogurt it offers differ everyday. On the day of my purchase, the shopkeeper told us there were original flavour and raspberry flavour of Yogurt.

The price is listed by the size of the cups:- Small- $20, Medium- $25, Large- $30. Unlike Yogo, the pricing of this shop is like Yo mama and Berry good, the toppings are $5 each.

The variety of toppings are different from other shops, in particular, the ‘Nuts & Candies” and “Cereal” lists- they tend to fit in the flavours of foreigners, since not only students are their targets, the foreigners who live nearby are also their main customers. “Reese’s Pieces” and “Multi Nut Cheerios” are some of the special toppings which are unique compared with other Froyo shops.

The shop is not really big, around 1/3 of the area of Yogo. The original yohurt is not as sour as Yogo, but it’s more milky, like soft ice-cream. It is easily melt, but it’s tasty in the way that you feel like drinking milk. The raspberry yohurt is white in color, the same as the original, which surprised me when I tasted it. It is a bit sweeter than original, and strong berry smell.

We got (i) Medium size + Original yoghurt + Strawberry + Reese’s Pieces ($35)
(ii) Medium Size + Raspberry Yoghurt (yes, it’s white in color!) + Blueberry + Oreo Cookies ($35)

The toppings are fresh. Strawberries are sweet, not too sour. The blueberries are fresh since the texture is not soft yet, compared to Crumbs, the fruits are better than others. The Reese’s Pieces and Oreo pieces are crispy, although the amount of toppings is slightly less, and unlike Yogo, it doesn’t price according to its weight.

There is still a small round table at the back of this counter, which allows two people to sit there and enjoy the Yoghurt.

Generally speaking, it is worth going to this shop for a try of the very milky yoghurt. It is crowded by students from the university as well as high schools, especially during lunch time. Some of the students took out the ‘stamp collection card’ of this shop, one stamp is given on every purchase, and a free Medium size yoghurt can be redeemed on ten stamps. Not only girls, but also the boys from King’s College (which is just around the corner near the shop) were attracted during lunch time. It is a bit noisy when we were there at 1:30pm.

Recommended to visit, if you don't mind going to mid-levels! Milky yoghurt and fresh toppings!
