The sakura tree was made first. The dark chocolate tree trunk was pre-made and so chocolate mousse was piped onto the plate. They added pink crumbs, raspberry jelly, and brownie chunks on the mousse and then topped it off with alfalfa. To finish off the dessert, they placed fluffy, pink cotton candy onto the trunk. The sakura tree dessert was extremely chocolate-y. The mousse was really heavy and sweet and so we mixed it with the bits of brownie, raspberry jelly, and cookie crumbs to make it not as sweet, but it was still really heavy. We were warned that the tree is really hard, but it was like a typical dark chocolate bar. I’m not sure if the cotton candy is supposed to have a certain flavor, but it just tasted like sugar.

The break the tear took a while to make since they had to warm up the sugar, pump it into a ball, and then melt the bottom of it before plating it. The guy succeeded in making the sugar ball the 2nd time! It was fascinating watching him make the sugar ball! While waiting for break the tear, the cotton candy tree shrunk a bit LOL. The sugar ball was placed over a plate of ice cream and ice which was premade. We were given one hammer and were gonna hold it together and break the dessert, but they were really nice and offered us another hammer! So fun breaking it! Inside the sugar ball, there was gorgonzola ice cream, celery ice, walnuts, hazelnut cake, and port wine sauce. The gorgonzola ice cream was interesting, and it tasted like cold gorgonzola lol. We had no idea what the ice was since we couldn’t taste it and so we looked at the menu again and realized that it’s celery and tried it again and could finally taste it. The hazelnut cake was hard, like a biscuit and it was a little bit bitter. Tbh, I had no idea it was hazelnut cake. Couldn’t taste the port wine sauce either, but saw it. We had so much fun watching the desserts being made and it was also delicious! Would love to come back to try another dessert!
