To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. Guten tag! Spent a late afternoon with a German-style all day breakfast. See how the Germans love their bread- there were three pieces of bread in my brunch: #1 herb buttered bread next to the corn pottage; #2 and #3 toasted crispy pine nut farm bread on my all-day breakfast plate. Corn pottage with herb buttered bread

Your bread won’t be boring cos you can dip them into the soup or egg yolk/ mash ripe avocado or grilled tomato on them/ butter them/ put smoked salmon or fried bacon on them!

Nuremberg sausages and quiche Lorraine were delicious and filling, add a dollop of yellow mustard to taste and make it properly German style. The quiche was full of cheese and it was absolutely satiating.

Lemon tart with beautifully flambé meringue and a mixture of fresh fruit purée- very buttery tart pastry and the zesty lemon custard tasted amazing. Lunch set came with a drink, so I had a cup of hot mocha to call it a day.
