Before starting the meal, the waiter served us a single shot of tea-like drink which was made out of coffee seeds. It was a bit sweet and sour, and without all the bitterness, we were told by the waiter that this was what “Specialty Coffee” is supposed to taste like.

Not really a big coffee lover, so we went on glancing through the menu and ordered a fish and chips, a smoked salmon and cheese soft bread, a cookies and cream ice-cream waffle and an apple cider, but I’d certainly suggest people who are fixated on coffee to at least have a try at their “Specialty Coffee”.

The Fish and Chips ($90 for 2) was well-fried and delicious.

But I am a bit disappointed with the Smoked Salmon and Cheese Soft Bread ($35) as it was rather dry.

As for the amazing Coffee Bean Shaped Waffle in Chocolate Sauce ($55), it is served with caramel banana, oreo, chocolate biscuit sticks, and a scoop of cookies and cream ice-cream, which was definitely the highlight of the night.

Last but not least, the Apple Cider ($68) tasted like a sweet champagne and was quite a match with the fish and chips.

On the whole, the waiter was passionate and knowledgeable enough to share different types of coffee and brewing methods with the customers, and coffee lovers may find a discussion with them a fruitful and enriching experience.
