To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

The Genki Sushi in APM switched from a conveyor belt to a train system in ~ 2016. You order your food by scanning a QR card with your smartphone and it brings you to a personalized webpage. Don't worry about using your mobile data - the restaurant provides free wifi. However I don't know what happens if you don't have a smartphone with you.The food is delivered on a train system. Although very gimmicky, it means you know your sushi is fresh(er) compared to picking up a dish on the conveyor belt.

The food is delivered on a train system. Although very gimmicky, it means you know your sushi is fresh(er) compared to picking up a dish on the conveyor belt. Food that might spill, such as soups and drinks, are hand delivered. However it might take some time for your food to be delivered to you.
