Ginseng  chicken  soup

The soup base consists of one whole spring chicken, lots of red dates, lots of wolfberries and one big gingseng. All the ingredients is good for our body! Once the soup base is boiled, I will always taste it first because I think a soup base of a hotpot speaks everything. The first taste on my taste buds is the gingseng..tasting a little bitter but at the same time with the numerous red dates and wolfberries, the aftertaste is sweet too. The red dates and wolfberries balanced the gingseng bitterness. The soup is very delicious
....moving on to the spring chicken....accordingly to the menu, they use Spanish Free-Range Hormone-Free Chicken.  The chicken meat absorbed the soup, it is tender and soft. The meat is so soft that it can easily tear away. The chicken does not contain lots of fat and the soup was not oily from it.

The chicken is stuffed with glutinous rice in the middle. The glutinous rice is very soft which absorbed the essence of the soup. Some restaurants may over stuff it but here, the portion was just right.

Lobster Platter includes one whole lobster, four Japanese Oysters, US Beef, Pork Belly Slice, Mixed Vegetables, four Pork Sausages, one Homemade Kimchi Cuttlefish Paste, one Homemade Kimchi Dace Fish Paste, Iceplant, Kale, Pumpkin, Purple Potato, Soya Knot and Corn. The staff kindly reminded us to eat the lobster and oyster first. We listened to the staff and ate it first. The lobster and oyster is very fresh
! Lobster meat is very sweet and chewy. Oysters is very sweet too.  The beef is very meaty taste but not tender enough. Pork belly meat is soft but personally I think it is a bit too fat.

The Soya Knot is very interesting. It is soft and can absorb the soup base flavoring! Both the Homemade Kimchi Paste is very delicious, my first time to eat this kind of paste for hotpot. Both the paste is soft with sufficient Kimchi taste...a little spicy but sufficient to make you feel refresh. However, the cuttlefish paste is softer than the fish paste. Iceplant and Kale is a perfect match for this hotpot. Kale is "superfood", low in calories, high in fiber and zero fat...a healthy vegetable!

The drink was served inside a bottle, placed in a mini mental bowl with ice...it is cute! I took one sip of it and it taste like medicine but my friend loved the drink.
