Wanted to give this newly opened joint a try, so I walked in just before 6pm to ensure I get a table - only requirement was to leave by 7:45pm which was fare enough.  Wood panelling gave a very old English ambience that's quite comforting, interest selection of wines and sake from Japan, with some ubiquitous International selection of red and white wine.  I tried a Japanese white wine from Nagano and it was pleasant enough for summer drinking.  Food tend to be bar snack type and portion size quite small, suitable for a group to share various selections.  Tried the seaweed salad which was refreshing, a crab croquettes that's very creamy but not much taste of crab meat, a good Robata grilled eggplant, a disappointing seasonal mushroom dish - looks like a supermarket packet of mushroom with no taste and watery texture, lastly a lobster and uni rice that was full flavour but slightly greasy when cold.  Overall I think one should just focus on drinks here.
Other Info. : Window seats have good harbour view but the seats are very low, bar seats may be more vibrant but you face away from the harbour. Inside dining area has comfortable seats and feels more clubby.
