Went there with my husband. Only a few tables of customers. Staff there were attentive. Food was great. Both husband and I ordered their "set menu" ($488 +10% per person):
Starter: beef carpaccio and watercress soup. Both delicious and fresh.
Main course: mushroom rissotto (up to standard but not great) and Linguine with scallop (linguine was perfectly done, al dente. Scallop not very fresh though).
Dessert: Pina cotta with blueberry (pina cotta not smooth enough. Won't recommend this) and pistachio gelato and mango sorbet (Great! One of the best I have ever tasted. Gelato was so smooth and tasted good. Sorbet was light and not sweet).
Tea: -
Went there with a friend. Only a few customers on a weekday afternoon. Service was so bad. The staff who served us was cold and has no smile on her face. You can feel that she was "not too willing to work". However, she laughed and chatted with other staff (loud enough that everyone in the cafe could hear them). That's inappropriate given it was quiet there (all customers lowered their voices). Service was not right given the class of this cafe and the price...
We ordered a chestnut cake and blueberry cheescake. Both nice. Also we ordered a latte and Earl Grey tea. However the staff served cold milk with the tea. For any high-end restaurant/cafe, I would expect there to serve hot milk for coffee and tea.
We missed the tea set hour and each paid around $140 for this unpleasant meal...
