This used to be Quemo but now the colour scheme is lighter and the food becomes Greek.  Not busy on a Wednesday evening so we were seated immediately upon entering the restaurant.  Greek salad to start with, not bad at all, feta cheese very nice as expected, though the halved cherry tomato was not as good as the sliced big tomato in Greece -but then again, nothing ever tasted as good as a local Greek salad in Greece.  the purple onions were thankfully sweet and the green bell pepper slivers also

This used to be Quemo but now the colour scheme is lighter and the food becomes Greek.  Not busy on a Wednesday evening so we were seated immediately upon entering the restaurant.

Greek salad to start with, not bad at all, feta cheese very nice as expected, though the halved cherry tomato was not as good as the sliced big tomato in Greece -but then again, nothing ever tasted as good as a local Greek salad in Greece.  the purple onions were thankfully sweet and the green bell pepper slivers also very fresh.  The warm pita bread that came with the aubergine dip was soft and fragrant, if a little on the greasy side with brushed olive oil, but it sure tasted great.  We also had a grilled octupus that was delicious, it's satisfyingly charred on the outside yet remaining moist and soft on the inside, seasoning was just right,  but with only one large tentacle in the plate I thought they could have been a little more generous with the portion size.  So I was left half full, ordered a chicken souvlaki as an unplanned addition as a result, the chicken pieces were overly dry even though they were freshly grilled - I think if they used chicken thigh instead of breast it could be better.  Taste was OK but I still think the pita bread that came with it stole the show.

Had two kinds of Santorini white wine, both from local grape varieties; the first one was honey-coloured with a hint of floral bouquet and medium body; the second one was pale straw colour and crisp, both with good structure and pleasant to drink with the dishes we had.

Service was good.
