I've been here twice with different experiences. The first time I came here, I got lost trying to find the place as it was located in some local mall and was hard to navigate. They are famous for siphon coffee here but as I don't drink black coffee, I asked them for a recommendation for coffee that will go well with cream and sugar. At their recommendation, I tried Sumiyaki, which was mild with a hint of sourness and went well with cream and sugar. There was still an aftertaste of coffee after e
The second time I went to visit, I decided to get a waffle to go along with my Sumiyaki. As there was no afternoon tea set with waffles, I had to order the two separately and it was pretty pricey at ~$80 total. The first thing that was amiss was that my coffee came first before my waffle so by the time I'm eating, my coffee is going cold already. Coffee should always come later to help digest the food. When my waffle finally came, it was very simple. The waffle I ordered was chocolate waffle and literally my waffle came with some chocolate sauce drizzled on top with some whipped cream. Really? That cost me $45 bucks? The waffle was really thick so it was almost like two pieces of toasts. It was nicely toasted on the outside but a bit dry on the inside, and coupled with the thickness, the entire thing was hard to eat and finish. Even the coffee didn't help this time. Come here for the coffee maybe but not the food.
