This small eatery is located in Central, and apparently quite popular for the people working in the neighborhood as well as foreigners. The eatery is famous for its dumplings, which are hand-wrapped with the skin also home-made. We ordered the vegetarian dumplings, and the pork and chive dumplings. Both of them are very nice, but personally I like the pork and chive ones better, with tasty and juicy stuffing. The skin is also very nice with a great texture, having a good bite yet soft. No wonder this is a must-have for diners.

We also ordered some snacks, including the marinated egg, and smoked chicken. The egg is marinated well with the flavors deeply embedded in the egg, though it was nothing extraordinary. The smoked chicken is quite nice, with a fragrant sesame oil aroma permeating, and the shredded chicken and cucumber got a complementary texture.

I also had a hot and sour soup as this is the dish that can tell the authenticity of the restaurant to the local flavors. This soup certainly has good sourness, with the hotness only coming out at the end when I nearly finished the whole bowl. Overall this one is only so-so and is not something I recommend.

Still having some room we decided to order another dumpling, this time going for the green onion and mutton dumplings. Compared with the earlier two, maybe because we were already quite full, we don't like them as much. The mutton was not too strong in the musky notes, but in terms of flavors and all it was just a bit not as good.

With a cup of soy milk, the bill on the night was $261. Not exactly cheap, but when compared with the price you need to pay for hand-made pasta in an Italian restaurant, still I would say it is reasonable in terms of value.

My overall rating is 58/100.
