Recently don't have time or energy to post much reviews. So, just digging up short ones to get some out of the way. Its a never-ending saga! SATAYS -From memory I ate pork, beef and lamb all at once. NASI UDUK -
Not very good in comparison to satays, but nevertheless acceptable. Rendang was not rich, nor tasty enough, also not dry enough to be a true rendang, which should have a concentrated flavour compacted into the meat cubes. 3/5
CENDOL -
A very well-known 'item', except I have NEVER EVER worked out whether this is suppose to be a dessert or a drink. I remember eating this with shaved ice in Malaysia as a dessert, sometimes ice-less too - scooping with a spoon! Equally I remembered drinking it! If someone knows the answer please enlighten me which is which! The version here is the drink version. I thought it was missing some pandan leaf flavour, also it had no detectable beans paste taste. Coconut taste a bit weak. 3.8/5
MARKISA -
Very little known drink in Hong Kong for some reason, but indeed a very famous Indonesian Passionfruit-based drink! It reminds me of the stuff you drink in plastic bags in South East Asia, but its very refreshing. Don't expect too much - but a Must Try! 4/5
OVERALL - THIS SHOP IMPRESSED AND IS WELL WORTH A VISIT. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, BUT MOSTLY FOR THEIR MARKISA AND THE SATAYS!
