It was 8pm and we couldn't wait to get home to eat so naturally we ate out.We couldn't get through on the phone so chanced it and went in. There was a table available at the back. The light was very dim, I'm not sure if they adopted this because of the Valentines week that just passed but there were no candles on the table to make brighter. There was a variety of tasty complementary bread and raw vegetables with the sauces and oils required.
We ordered Black truffle mushroom Pappardelle / Tomato, Avacado (cold) / 20oz Fiorentina.
Maybe it's because its the 1st steak of the year 2014 for me but we both felt it was a phenominol meal. The Pappardelle had a potent truffle smell / taste and the 20oz steak came with loads of sauces although after we tried them all, it still tastes better dabbing the steak in quality crystal salt (also provided).
We over ordered and had to take out the left overs.
P.S. My dog loved the steak bone all night long haha!
