This was called "Chicken Wrap (Burrito)" on the menu, and I guess it's up to you to make it more wrap-y or more burrito-y. In addition to the chicken, you can add one choice of rice (brown, tomato, or spinach), a bean mix, a cheese mix, lettuce spinach, tomatoes, corn, bell peppers and sauce. For an additional $15, you can get guacamole.

I skipped the lettuce, spinach, and corn-- added the guacamole-- and got the green (aji verde) sauce. A few criticisms: the bell peppers were billed as "grilled" but seemed uncooked to me, and definitely crunchier than my ideal on a burrito. They were running out of cheese and so gave me very little-- some of the other reviewers mentioned that Healthy Chicken is not great at maintaining stocks. The green sauce was not spicy. The rice was dry and overcooked and disappointing.

That being said, there were some upsides. The chicken is good, and the tortilla is better than Cali-Mex. The guacamole is good and they do have a sauce that is spicy-- the yellow aji amarillo, which I had my second time around. I would definitely get this again, though next time I might go in a more wrap-y direction with lettuce and spinach instead of rice and beans.

(pictured: half of a half of a chicken meal)

On my second trip to HC I got a half chicken meal ($108 + $15 for guacamole) that I split with my wife. Previously I'd been buying pre-cooked chicken from La Rotisserie. Now, La Rotisserie is really delicious, but the chicken and even the vegetables there are so greasy, I feel like I need a shower after eating it. Here, things are noticeably lighter. The chicken is drier and less delicious, but it's still very good and far less greasy. The skin is nice and crisp. I will say that a half chicken here seems smaller than the La Rotisserie birds.

With the meal comes a salad on the side, which consists of the same things you can get with the burrito. This time I got the yellow sauce, and there's some noticeable kick to it. Again, I do wish the rice were a little better.

The way I see it, HC has two types of competitors: on the one hand, burrito places like Cali-Mex, Lil Burro, and (I guess) Yonge Piggies; and on the other hand, chicken places like La Rotisserie and some other ones I haven't been to (Flames?). Given that HK burritos aren't all that good, I can see myself heading to HC for a burrito in the future. And it is a healthy option, as compared to things like LR. So I hope it stays in business, as I hope to return quasi-regularly.

Overall: Good, B
Other Info. : I think the people who work there are a little overbearing. I feel like I should be able to look at a menu without someone giving me the hard sell.
