Many friends recommended this place so we came here on a Sunday lunch with the family, party of 5 people. Unfortunately most of their tables are only designed for 2 or 4 people, so I had to sit along the corridor which was slightly inconvenient when other customers had to walk by.We ordered the set lunches which consisted of a big bowl of ramen and another small dish such as 6 pieces of sashimi or chirashi don or 2x salmon uni handroll etc. We ordered 4 set lunches for 5 people which turned ou
We ordered the set lunches which consisted of a big bowl of ramen and another small dish such as 6 pieces of sashimi or chirashi don or 2x salmon uni handroll etc. We ordered 4 set lunches for 5 people which turned out to be more than enough food.
Regular pork bone soup based ramen was good, while the tomato soup based one was interesting and very tasty. The sashimi was decent, while the chirashi don used sushi rice i.e. including vinegar, which was a bit strange compared to the other ones I've had which use plain japanese rice.
Service was efficient even though the place was full, although some of the utinsels were dirty and had to be replaced.
Each set lunch came with drinks as well, and you could add 10-20 dollars for various desserts and ice cream. Overall very good value and I would definitely come here again. Although if I only came with my gf for lunch I would probably only order 1 lunch set and add some side dishes as 2 lunch sets would be too much food.
