Sweet sour pork-pork had been deep fried again so was hard and dry-very little sweet sour sauce as more would have compensated for the dry and tough texture of the pork-pork also came with a lot of bones so there was less meat on the plate than expected-portion was decent but the dish was overall disappointingStir fried celery with cashews and prawns-celery and carrot slices were fresh and young-cashews were aplenty -prawns were large, fresh and tasty-decent portionStir fried spicy snails with v

-plenty of snails and vermicelli in a large bowl of spicy soup
-snails were fresh and flesh was tender
-soup was a little too spicy for me but just right for others
Stir fried pippies with peppers in black bean sauce
-there were lots of pippies on the plate
-pippies were abundant, fresh and no sand in the flesh
-capsicum and onion slices were also fresh
-sauce tasted great with the pippies
Stir fried morning glory in shrimp paste sauce
-large portion of morning glory that was young and fresh
-sauce was a bit too salty but went well with the rice
Steamed sea fish
-absolutely delicious and everybody's favourite tonight
-fish was very fresh and cooked just right; flesh was tender and skin was silky
-sweet soy sauce was perfect for the fish
-lots of fresh ginger and spring onion slices
Plain steamed rice
-light and fluffy, simply delicious!
Chinese tea
- good quality steaming hot Pu Erh tea in teapots that were refillable
