I visit this Simplylife for a quick refreshment.As a hot fans of carrot cake, I ordered that with no doubt. As a hot fans of carrot cake, I ordered that with no doubt. I believe, ordering an espresso is the quickest way to know the quality of a cafe's coffee bean.
Thus, today's choice is carrot cake and espresso.
Except the cashier's incorrectly taking my order, everthing are perfect.
The carrot cake has been added some grain and dried seeds to make it chewy and funny texture that I really enjoy. The top layer of cream cheese is tasty and creamy.
The presentation of the Espresso looks chic in a shooter glass. Attractive aroma and taste really well.
Food are perfect but cashier need to pay more attention when taking order, especially when there's a long line-up during the rush hours.

After standing in front of the coffee pickup area for almost 5 minutes, one of the staff asked me what I was waiting for. I replied "a double espresso". At the same time, I found that the cashier took the order wrongly and the recipe printed "earl grey tea". Damn, how come that cashier listened "double espresso" to "earl grey tea"????? Then, I returned to the cashier and told her that she took my order incorrectly. Within 1 seconds, that cashier show her "黑臉" to response my complaint. Hey, as a customer, I have the responsibility to point out that my order was taken incorrectly by her. That's the right of customer, I believe.
She impolitely throw HK$8 coins to my hand and emphasis her unfavorable face to me.
To the editor of Openrice: This incident is true and please allow this post. I have no complaint on the food but simply to that store's services quality.
