Today I had lunch with two friends at Orange Tree. It was recommended to me by a Dutch friend. Today I had lunch with two friends at Orange Tree. It was recommended to me by a Dutch friend. The weekday lunch menu is semi-buffet: a selection of appetisers at the bar counter include salads, cold cut meats, some cheese and bread. Then a nice selection of main dishes to choose from. I chose the Steak Frites (although I asked for the Frites to be swapped with vegetables, and the staff kindly obliged). The price is quite reasonable $238 (+10%) for two courses including tea or coffee. For an extra $30 you could also have dessert. My only complaint was the service was either slack (had to literally wave our hands around to get their attention so we could order)....or too rushed (two of us hadn’t even finished our main course but bc the third person had finished already, they came and took our coffee /tea order anyway...and my coffee arrived still while I was eating my main course🙄)

Overall, the food is delicious but let down by some lack lustre service.
