Bao bei paled in comparison to the restaurants they were attempting to mimic. With the flavors copied from Little Bao and the quirky drinks like many other places such as quinary - I did not really enjoy it comparatively. The drinks were ok and the atmosphere was also ok. The mood was nice to begin with but it quickly faded with the unaccomodating and pushy staff. I felt like I was being watched like a hawk putting me on edge throughout. The food was doused in oil, even the salad, and none of the flavor combinations stood out. The char sui rice burger was so oily that I felt I could hurl and I needed to scrub my hands with soap before I could eat the next dish. The linguini laksa was the only saving grace of the meal we had. We had ordered a set meant for 2 people yet were hungry enough to eat more. Don’t recommend this place
