The Point is located on the ramen street in Causeway Bay, Tang Lung Street. The restaurant is very spacious with a big open space square shape. It was quite busy when we got there but we could still notice a few details that the restaurant uses. For example, The Point uses Bolaven coffee beans from Laos, and they freshly made all of their pizza using stone oven. The restaurant offers alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. As an alcholic, I just have to try both. Left: Winter Love ($50)Made with ora

The restaurant offers alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. As an alcholic, I just have to try both.

Left: Winter Love ($50)
Made with orange juice, mango juice, apple juice with egg whtie and grenadine syrup. Probably a healthy drink that tasted a bit just fruit punch without the sugar soda.

Right: Sparkling Water ($68)
Gin, blue curacao and ginger ale topped with red wine. Pretty light in the gin taste. It was a bit sweetened and fizzy. It wasn't my type of drink but it really was a cute drink.

Sweet Potato Fries ($50)
It was crunchy and thinly cut, the natural sweetness was quite a good match with the cream cheese dip served on the side. The size was just alright for $50.

Unfortunately, it was a bit over-cooked. We could hardly see any pink centre in the steak. The grilled veggies on the side were really good though!

Lump crab cakes ($118)

We were told they were housemade. There were quite a lot of herbs and seasoning in the crab cakes. They were also topped with roasted red pepper aiolo. Personally I don't mind this crab cakes because I like food with a strong flavour, but it may not be suitable for you if you don't like savory stuff.

Roman ($158)
The Point has their pizza all housemade. Their pizza has no choice of thin or thick crust, but they were all cooked perfectly with crunchy crust and fluffy in the middle. This roman pizza is topped with proscuitto, sliced fig, arugula, tomato sauce.

The thickness and crust was just perfect to my linking. The toppings were fresh overall. The tanginess from the fig balances out with the savory proscuitto nicely.

Our snacks /  starter came later. We have ordered a couple just to try things out.

Steamed clams ($108)
The clams were all very puffy fresh. It was cooked with chili and garlic in white wine broth. Although the white wine sauce wasn't too prominent but the garlic taste was really strong and it could never go wrong with clams. For $108, there were only around 8 clams in the bowl, I would expect the portion to be a bit more?

Chicken Lollipops ($78)
The small lollipops were served with honey barbeque sauce. The skin was quite crispy and the meat was somewhat succulent. I would recommend it if you like chicken as the serving size was only 4 pieces.

Spaghetti with red prawns ($178)

First of all, the pasta could be considered al-dente but it could be even harder. The hardiness was better than many other restaurants I would say.

The red prawns were from Argentina which we found completely different from the infamous juicy Spanish red prawns. They tasted okay but they just didn't have the rich flavour from the Spanish one.

Stuffed portobello ($78)

The mushroom was stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese and topped with cheesy croutons.

It was creamy in texture and in fact not overly strong in cheese taste. Each serving was just 1 piece so make sure you order enough to share with your friends!

Ginger Bread Latte

Although Christmas is passed, I am still a bit fan of ginger bread and I couldn't say no to this. I liked that it was as sweet because they didn't put too much syrup to boost up the ginger bread taste, instead, they provided a piece of ginger bread man biscuit for you to munch on while having the latte. I just liked it so much I want to go back again for another one!

Cinnamon Apple Pizza ($68)
As our appetite has approached the sated stage, we had hit the wall with this dessert pizza topped raisins, walnuts, toffee sauce, and vanilla ice cream. The dough was same as their pizza dough, and we recommend you to enjoy it fast otherwise the ice cream would make the dough soggy.

The highlight of this pizza is the house roasted honey walnuts. Each big piece was crispy and fully of caramelised nutty flavour. It was so good it's almost addictive.

Tiramisu Affogado ($48)
This dish reminded me of the tiramisu I had in Soi_ in Central. Both uses tiramisu concept to make an afforgado. When pouring the shot of espresso in, the mascapone cheese and vanilla ice cream started to melt. The blended taste of everything was heavenly. I miss this taste so much!

If you happened to come here for the first time and don't knwo what to order, go for their pizza or pasta. They probably have the most stable quality and they should all be delicious.
