Pizza express had been a favorite of mine. Good service and quality food at a justified price. But recent visits to two Pizza Express-es had been nothing but a lil bit disappointing, particularly with the quality of the pizzas. It was a month ago so I can't remember the name of the salad or that of the pizza.. Salad - I do remember it's a green salad on the a la carte menu. We absolutely loved it. The portion was humongous and there was plentiful of everything in it, which is good cos they came

Salad - I do remember it's a green salad on the a la carte menu. We absolutely loved it. The portion was humongous and there was plentiful of everything in it, which is good cos they came very well together. There are plenty of argula, beetroots, mozzerella, squash, avocado.. it's just a delightful treat to those who love salads.
Pizza - Well well well... It wasn't too bad, but the quality has definitely deteriorated over time.. I remember the pizza was close to perfect when i visited PE like many years ago. But now (not the first time I experienced this too), the pizza was drenched in oil and it's not how pizza should be. You have fennel, salami, rockets and cheese on the pizza. The combination was good but you just can't ignore the fact that a mouthful of pizza came with a mouthful of oil. I just pray that it's olive oil so it won't be as unhealthy...
I was undoubtedly disappointed. Even though the salad was satisfactory, I still can't give PE a good rating cos well you go to a pizza parlour for the pizza.. and they failed to deliver. (and baking pizzas isn't rocket science..) I might come back for the salad but not for the pizza for sure.
