Meeting up boyfriend for lunch in Yau Ma Tei, we discovered a cha cha teng that seemed new. It had simple name. Ice. So we went inside.

Menu is in Chinese only. There is no English and no 10% service charge. We arrived just as afternoon tea was starting, so we ordered from there.

I had a deep fried fish fillet with salad ($38). The fish fillet was wonderful. The skin crispy and the batter no too thick. The fish was so soft and flakey. The salad was really good as well. Not too watery and over drenched with mayonnaise. It was the perfect amount to just coat everything together.  It had potatoes and apple! Just the way I make it!

Boyfriend had a stir fried rice noodles with black bean sauce ($45). Portion was generous enough and seasoned well. The pork was tender and not over cooked. The peppers were sweet.

The food was really good. Service was friendly. The place was clean. A pretty good cha chan teng. Would definitely be back as we noticed they had Chinese dishes at night with a bowl of rice that was not expensive at all.
