Fotan is characterized by the 3 F's: Factories, Fix-your-car shops and more recently, Fotanians (basically artists with workshops in the area). The chicken was thickly-cut, well-battered, crunchy and strong on the salt as expected. The portions were small, the chicken, rice and the two lonely strands of bak choi were quickly devoured, leaving me only half-full.
I would have ordered two sets or asked for desserts (+$8 for a brownie or +$12 for cake) but decided to save that for another time. Extra rice is also possible if you ask when ordering. I enjoyed the environment and think this is a nice place to relax and chill in. Fotan is finally coming up with quality places!
