Since it was my birthday month, I decided to cash in on my free Starbucks drink and treat boyfriend to a drink upgrade with the new drink.The new drink was a pina colada coconut jelly granita float and an espresso coffee jelly granita float. Now, a granita is a sweet icy dessert found in Italy. The only thing I can probably equate it to is a 7-11 slurpee. The add looked like the ice was flavored.This is what they literally looked like. This is what they literally looked like. The "granita" was just plain ice or most likely unflavored frap. It just floated on top of the liquid on the bottom. Mixing it up made it worse as it diluted the drink entirely. This is probably the worst item Starbucks as offered and they do sometimes offer some pretty bad ones. Will definitely not order this again.
