We were quite surprised to realize that this new restaurant, just 5 minutes walk away from where we live, is the Cinecitta that used to be on Star street in Wanchai. Anyhow: Don't know where they source their Buffalo mozzarella but it is very, very good. Freshly made pasta. Big difference. Nicely cooked and ever slightly chewy with a well balanced sauce. The meat was tender, nice sauce. Accompanied with an al-dente rissoto which could have been creamier but that's really a matter of personnal preference at this point because the taste was there.
All and all, a great night and long live Cinecitta in Tai Kok Tsui! (crossing fingers)
Dinner for two, wine excluded was HKD $698. Wine by the glass is $60-80.
