•I love exploring new and up-and-coming restaurants, so I was excited to try this place after booking in advance.
•Sadly, it was a big letdown. The food was average, but the service—especially for a business district spot—was the real disappointment.
•Right as my friend and I met, the same waitress kept asking if we wanted water. We were still deciding—maybe drinks, maybe tap water—but she wouldn’t let up.
•To stop her, we said tap water, but she warned it wasn’t filtered, so we skipped it and focused on ordering drinks instead.
•During our main course, that same waitress saw our empty glasses and poured the unfiltered water anyway. We let it happen to avoid arguing, but didn’t drink it.
•Some dishes were cleared without asking. My friend later noticed the unfinished bread was gone too—felt intrusive.
•There’s a 1.5-hour limit, fair enough, but it was handled poorly.
•Near the end, that same waitress dropped the receipt in front of us without a word. I checked my watch and said it wasn’t time yet.
•She gave a forced smile, saying, “Yes, you still have 5 minutes, take your time,” while pushing me to pay immediately.
•An empty table for six sat next to us, no one was waiting outside, and peak lunch was over. Yet people who arrived with us weren’t rushed—maybe because we didn’t get wine or dessert?
•The food was just okay, nothing standout, and the service ruined it.
•I’ve tried busy new spots that flip tables fast but still treat people well—I’d revisit those. This one? I wouldn’t recommend. Their marketing hype doesn’t match the experience.
