My roommate and me have always had a penchant for BBQ buffet. Today she told me that the best birthday gift that she could ever imagine is to bury herself into succulent, savory and, most important of all, unlimited meat, but Korean and Chinese BBQ are ubiquitous, so I decided that we should try Mongolian style to avoid anymore aesthetic fatigue from routine food around HKU...

The rate for lunch is HK$88 each person, which is HK$127 lower than dinner. The process of making your own plate was playful. For the first round, I chose fish, mixed seafood, yellow noodles, corn, American eggs, pineapple and several kinds of vegetales with mongolian sauce, which is their specialty. I gave the tray and my number slip to their chef and 5 minutes later, an appetizing bowl arrived.

For the second round, I picked beef, pork and fried noodles with barbecue juice. The beef was cut into very thin slices and fully savored. Every bite was enjoyable, just like an angel dancing on my tongue. I couldn't help having a third round and expecting a fourth, even if it's a little uncommon for an marginally overweight girl (kidding!), although I was a little worried about the fact that my last favorite buffet place shut down recently......

Customers could pick up a pizza foundation, choose their own toppings and give the combo to chef to have a "self-made" pizza. I chose bacon, pineapple and corn, which came out quite tasty.

Drinks are around $32~50 each. I recommend juice or unlimited-refillable soft drinks. All in all, it was a delightful meal, and happy birthday, Daisy! We love you!
